Ok I have an 8800gt installed with the latest drivers, and its giving me code 43 errors, the last time it was working properly was before water hit it. So I've ordered a 560ti gpu and I want to switch it over. Question id, what do I do? I van change the hardware easy, but im not sure if the drivers will cause problems, or if I have to completly reformat or what. Any advise would be awesome thanks guys =D

Just physically install it to the case

After you replace it will start up using VGA drivers and then download the drivers from the website. http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

You dont have to perform a reformat for a simple hardware switch out.

I went from 9500GT to GT 430 to GTX 550ti

The GT 430 was a RMA for 9500gt

Just make sure you have 2 PCI-E connectors and power and room for it It takes two slots

Here the power requirments for 560ti

Thermal and Power Specs:
Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) 99 C 97 C
Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) 170 W 210 W
Minimum System Power Requirement (W) 500 W 550 W
Supplementary Power Connectors Two 6-pin Two 6-pin

Happy Computing
