Tried to do a repair with disk that came with my computer but I am getting a message that says I have a mp3 device plugged in that is stopping windows repair but I have no devices plugged in. I did a virus removal here about a month ago and I have been getting programs not responding since.

System manufacturer and model?

Chances are...key system files were damaged, possibly during your removal efforts or by the malware itself.

Since the system has not performed properly since your removal efforts...how do you know that the system is not still infected? What would make you think that all malware is now removed?
