A couple of days ago I found out my PC had become infected with SpyFalcon. I have followed a number
of threads here and followed the removal instructions but SpyFalcon is still there.

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this please?

Thanx

A friend had to resort to using this Trojan Remover Program which is free to use for thirty days.

Hello polekat, Welcome to the forum. We have a tutorial here to help you remove it. It was just updated by Grinler the Site Admin and author and it's free..

Much thanks to Grinler and the other fine folk here at BC. After manually removing most of SpyFalcon, the last piece of this fantastically annoying puzzle was the .DLL (the taskbar alert) Grinler turned up yesterday. I'm finally rid of SF after about 36 hours of work. *whew*

Thanks again!

I tried using the tutorial to get rid of SpyFalcon but I keep having problems. When I boot into safe mode the desktop icons for smitRem and FixSF disappear from my desktop. I've tried searching for them and it comes up with no trace.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get rid of this thing?

Thanks

Polekat
