Hi thanks for the joining instructions, lol I am from plymouth in the uk! and would be described as a silver surfer. MALE .. I have had a problem with windows 8 download free test/beta it has wiped everything fom my pooter has anyone else had a similar experience with this version of windows ??? as it drove me nuts trying to get back in to my pc and I am now in the middle of re loading everything thank god for back ups

As for the wiping everything :oopsign:

However finding problems like that or usability problems is one of the reasons Microsoft makes these previews available. Until a new Windows such as Win8 goes RTM they make no promises as to anything except that it may install.

RTM = Release to Manufacturing which is when the computer makers get it to put on their new computers.

In the future make a clone of your drive first.
