I am having difficulty accessing a single website 'www.citicards.com'. I have been accessing this site for years, and all of a sudden, I can't get connected (over the past few days). I get the message (Page cannot be found'.

I am using Win 98 SE and IE6, SP1, on a PC

I think I have checked everything. I have a home network and I can access this site from my laptop (but all the files are on the desktop). I have tried to install another browser (Netscape) and I still have the same problem. I have not problems accessing other websites.

I have disabled Symantec Antivirus, Zone Alarm, Google Tool Bar, AdAware and Spybot (but I have had these running for years now..but they are disabled). I tried to ping' that website and I get '4 sends and no receives'.

I think I need help.

Have you checked our internet options to see if the site has been added to the "Blocked Sites" list?

polaris6 has similar topic posted here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...topic=46527&hl=

I feel merging the two, would lead to confusion at this point.

And has now posted a HJT log.
That being said this topic will now be closed.
