I had Diablo II on my computer, then it crashed. I had it rebuilt with a new hard drive and memory, but now Diablo II doesn't work. I get many errors, most HKEY related. I've been told I would have to wipe the hard drive clean to get these registry problems to go away, but is there a different way I could fix it?
Now for my other problem, I have a U.S. Robotics fax modem, and it is loud. Is there a way I can make it either more quiet or silent all together? As far as I can tell, there's no speaker on the modem, so I don't know where the sound is coming from, becuase the speaker for my case isn't hooked up, and it isn't coming out of the speakers.

Hi Sudden Impulse, welcome to Bleeping Computer.
I would suggest you post your game problem here. Questions in the same post on different matters make it difficult for the propoer responder to find it.

This tutorial may help you with your modem noise.
