I have a Dell Latitude D630 laptop, when i turn it on it only shows half the screen. The right half is dark, and the left side shows two small screens, one on top of the other. It does it at start up, and on windows, and at bios. Any help on what can be the issue?

Hi Joel,

Do you have the brightness key to the max. If its isn't the Brightness key than you have a failling display. However if you have VGA output you can connected it to a external monitor.

If you have a warranty I would request a warranty service to repair the screen.

yes the brightness is to the max. i have not tried to connect it to a external monitor, i will be doing that. Though i have looked around and seen many of the same issues blamed to the video card on this model. Thanks for the response.
