Try this one - struggling to get an explanation I can understand (even from Apple) - family members IPOD touch performed a port scan(outgoing) on an unknown IP adress- geo located within 25 miles of our house. Problem - no one had access to the IPOD at the time, whole family were away. Apple have never encountered this they say.
Whats all that about?, why would an IPOD perform a port scan on an unknown address - why has my firewall on router picked it up? & how the heck can this happen when nobody had acess to it ?(sleep mode though).

Really Grateful for help.
