I recently reinstalled windows xp home, with a flash drive connected to my computer. After the installation was complete, and a couple days later I went to plug in my flashdrive, and no new drive appeared in my computer.

I went to disk management and assigned it a drive letter, and it opened, but after I unplug my flashdrive, the drive letter cannot be used again.

And, it makes my flashdrive into FAT filesystem, limiting the file name size.

I tried reformating to FAT32, but no avail..any help?
