Hi, new member. I have a .avi file that when I play on vlc has no audio. I went to the audio tracks and it says its a .wav file. Any codec I can download or media player that can play this .avi file? Thanks in advance

If it was a wave file VLC would play it. What does it show under tools / codec information?

What is happening is that AVI is not a codec. A AVI file is like a container that can have any kind of video and any kind of audio in it.

Good Luck
