Bleeping Computer Experts,

I recently got infected by "Babylon" It's a search engine that pops up immediately when I open up a browser. I'm worried that this could be a serious infection. I refrained from using its search engine capabilities, but upon reading what others have written on the internet, it appears to be a redirect search engine.

What should I do to disinfect this virus? Additionally, what can I do to efficiently check my system for other malware?

Babylon is not malicious but it may be a nuisance.

Which browser is affected?
