You have tried uninstalling Nero...and then reinstalling it?

Do you have the same problem when using a burn program other than your version of Nero?

What version of Nero might that be?

Hi

You can try this one, it is the only one I use. Read the screens as you install to avoid installing the junk toolbar.

http://www.videohelp.com/tools/ImgBurn

ImgBurn can write most types of CD/DVD/Blu-ray/BD images and it supports all the latest writers (including booktype / bitsetting on many of the major ones - i.e. BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony). Create ISO's from files on your hard disk, or burning them direct to a disc. You can even use ImgBurn to erase / format your rewritable media! Supported image formats: BIN, CDI, CDR, DVD, GCM, GI, IMG, ISO, LST, MDS, NRG, PDI, UDI

One thing to take note of, It does not do any file conversions or authoring like Nero does. It is a free burning program.

This type of error can also be caused by poor quality blanks, or a drive going bad.
