I wasn't sure which forum to put this in (Windows 7 or internal hardware) as I'm not entirely sure what the problem is. The problem is just what I state in the topic title, constant disconnects/reconnects. Not all the time though, as far as I'm aware it's only when playing online games(it's definitely noticeable while playing online games). However, this doesn't happen -every- time I'm playing an online game, though it does happen a lot. Other computers in my house do not appear to have any issues, it's just mine.

I realize that this is not enough information to solve this problem, so if you can tell me what information you need and I'll post it.

Thanks for any help!

You need to disable Bonjour from your services I think that is what is causing your issue because everything else looks fine. Hit the windows key and R at the same time then type Services.msc Hit enter then find bonjour left click it then stop the service then right click it and select properties then Change the startup type to disabled then hit apply.

Now you will need to reset Your winsock Hit the windows key and R at the same time then type CMD hit enter then type the following.

netsh winsock reset catalog

Exit

Reboot your machine. Also that is not the whole startup list from Ccleaner but disable the ones listed below anyway.

Yes HKCU:Run msnmsgr "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe" /background

Yes HKLM:Run hpsysdrv c:\program files (x86)\hewlett-packard\HP odometer\hpsysdrv.exe

Edit: Any time that you need to use Bonjour just re-enable it this is only a minor aggrivation since it may be the cause of you being kicked off the net

You might Also consider disabling Ipv6

Hit start
Control Panel
NetWork & Sharing Center
Manage Network Connections
Right Click Your Connection
Select Properties
Un-Check Ipv6
Select ok
Continue Below

Disable the IP Helper service:

1. Hold the Windows key and type R, enter "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter

2. Scroll down to the IP Helper service, right click on it and select Properties
3. In the dropdown box that says "Automatic" or "Manual", set it to Disabled and then click on "Apply"
4. Then click on "Stop" to stop the service from running in the current session.
5. Click OK to exit the dialog

Reboot.

In my hosts file all lines are comments(lines beginning with a #). Yes I did run the fix when you requested I do so, though.

Edit;Followed all those instructions, hoping this works. I'll repost here if it is not fixed.

Can you post the host files here you may have a malware infection.Aside from disabling bonjour and re-setting the router it is possible that there is some type of malware on your machine.

# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.

#

# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each

# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should

# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.

# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one

# space.

#

# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual

# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.

# For example:

#

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server

# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
