Alright I am running Window 7 64-bit Home Basic edition and have a moderately fast computer. I was doing a Google search when I found my links were starting to be hijacked. At first I thought they were just new advertisements but then when I downloaded a game ("Not Tetris 2," a java game I believe) my Antivirus started picking up two trojans (Generic Trojan and ZeroAccess respectively). My computer then started running slower than usual and my internet would start to cut out. Whenever I started playing some of the games that require more power to run, they started to cut out or even exit completely. One of the more serious issues happened when my computer randomly restarted without any input from me. My battery was charged and was plugged in and there were no power surges. After that my games just would not run at their highest performance or even keep a connection to the internet. So far all I know is that I have ZeroAccess hiding in one of my .EXE files and that MalawareBytes spotted a Fake.TrojanMS in my computer. If anyone knows how to remove it with minimal damage to my system and without doing a disk reboot (if possible, I have all of the items ready with me if needed). Thanks in advance.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, PLEASE follow Step One so it will report your topic to the team members.
