possible virus?

my sister told me about a problem she experienced on google chrome she didnt go into much detail but she said she got a message saying "it's dead" with a robot? im not sure if this is true but iv'e never experienced this? and apparently the computer shut down? any way of fixing this?

It's probably not malware, Chrome uses "He's dead, Jim" as an error message that comes up when the OS terminates the browser or a running tab due to an error.
"He's dead, Jim!" is a reference from Star Trek to describe things that are unresponsive. Learn more about "He's dead, Jim!"

It says that when you shut down your PC if your running a script on your web browser.. just means like Uniom Thug said just now the app is dead because your shutting down.. I mean.. shut down.. is you know.. shutting down.. sleeping.. turning off.. lol :D
