Hi,

A friend has this almost always on their desktop and can't get rid of it.
It disappears when I do a remote connection.
Can anyone identify what this white box is?

See screen shot: screenshot

Thank you

Thank you!

At least now we know what to look for trying to get rid of it.

Update:

That white box is nothing but a desktop background, but that's why it was so hard to find.
None of the links on it are active. It's just a .jpg.
Going to Personalize > Desktop Background ... and changing it fixed the problem.
