I noticed an icon on my desktop this morning and I am not sure what it is or what it does can anyone tell me what trff.exe is?

well I ran all my spyware programs and avg and it still didnt find anything, I also have ccleaner which I ran a scan and also scanned for issues but still nothing was found and the icon still remains on my desktop, is it safe to get rid of it?

I'm a bit rusty at those OS's but, Deleting the icon will only delete the icon not the file. If you right click on the icon and select properties it should give you the path (location of that file). That may give you a reference to how it arrived. Then if you see some thing as a program you can delete it from control panel (add/remove). Or do a search for the trff.exe file and maually delete the resulting files.
