Problem started 2 days ago when I some how could not connect to the Net. For some reason could not repair the the connection. However, my laptop has no problem connecting.

It was suggested to run a virus scan. Scan came clean. It was then recommend to download and install Malwarebytes. I downloaded the .exe file on a pin drive and copied it to my desktop on the "problem" computer in Safe Mode/

When I tried to install Malwarebytes, the program will not load. Any ideas? Any additional information that I can provide?

Where did you download Malwarebytes from it could be a corrupt download?

I've always use http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ and it never fails.
