That if part of the last version of Spybot Searh and Destroy 1.3. The current version is 1.4. Did you have Spybot S&D 1.3 archived on the external hard drive?

Probably.
I tried to delete most of my older back up files on the external drive but spybot and a Winamp application wouldn't delete. Spybot seemed to be the only error message.I tried to remove the entire back up folder. I also set diskkeeper to ignore the path, but had no success.

I was able to delete the files by going back to the 98se computer and deleting them from there. I also realized that I'm only able to back up 4 GB at a time onto a FAT32 file system (external HD). I also backed up my xp onto the external HD. Some of my xp folders are quit big. When it got to 4 GB a message came up saying that only 4 GB my be copied at a time. What a drag!!!!
Looks like I will have to do this manually (copy/paste). Oh well, better safe then sorry!
