removing the write-protection from a flash drive

How can i take off the write-protection from my flash drive? there are no visible switch or software on the flash drive.
everytime i try to save to my flash or delete something keep getting the message "your disk is write-protected please turn off
can anyone assist??

Remember, it's always good policy to create a new System Restore point before altering the Registry.
