I tried to run Spybot and every time it gets to CoolWWWSearch it slows down to a crawl . I let it run for 24 hours and it never made it through all the CoolWWWSearch DLL's. It was on CoolWWWSearch.Feat2DLL when I stopped it . I kept a log and it ran through over 2000 CoolWWWSearch DLL's . I have tried this in safe mode with the same results. I have also deleted Spybot and re-installed it and did all the up dates. But it still lockes down on CoolWWWSearch. Can someone help me get rig of this ??? Thanks , Old Hippie

I ran Shreeder and it says my system is clean. If my system is clean why does Spybot show that I have over 2000 CoolWWWSearch DLL's and still slows to a crawl when scanning the CoolWWWSearch DLL's ????
Thanks ..........

Try running spybot and doing your scan in safe mode.
"SAFE MODE" tutorial

You might also want to download and scan with Ad-Aware SE 1.06.
Setup & Configure as shown here.
