One browser calls 'em Favorites, another calls 'em Bookmarks. Spending time on the Internet we're bound to collect quite a few. How about sharing some of yours?

List a link, add a few comments. Any kind of website or forum. Any reason. Edit:
subject to some restrictions, of course :flowers:

The Moonlit Road

~Ghost stories and strange folktales of the American South, told by the region's most celebrated storytellers.

Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon
~This one is a lot of fun. See how many degrees you can get.

Digital_Films

~Make Your Own Movie Online! Very simplistic. But would be fun to do with your kids. I saved the one I made and when I opened the site from MY Favorites, I was able to still view it. And it was created almost a year ago. Also noticed that they are offering a Beta Version now. With new features and possibilities.

Hi Jack This analysis
I use this ONLY for curiousity on logs. Please do not use this site to self-diagnose your own log.

I will post back a few more, but this explorer only has a few. My other one has many more.... :flowers:

 Woosh, right on. my boy built a rocket, launched it for Grandpa & Grandma , others at the schoolyard ...
Dad watched it blow up a few hundred feet up.
Dang, it was a good few hundred feet, though.

I like Black Viper's Site a distinctive black background, picture of the owner (how unusual), top-notch information if you're dealing with winXP, hard working at updates & an attitude.

believe it or not, i have about 300 faves listed...and will be more than happy to share one or two...but i have a question: is there ANY way to print out the list of favorites/bookmarks? i have been wanting to completely reorganize mine, but...it would be a nightmare, unless i can somehow print them, view them, and redo them. anyone???

thanx!!

That is an awesome question!

Lets start with which explorer you are using.

If you are using IE, then here is how you do it:

Click start-> right-click Favorites and select Open.
You will see everything that is in your favorites list, as shortcuts.
Highlight all the shortcuts -> right-click and select print

*WARNING* What this will do is open up every favorite to the internet, and print out what would normally be displayed. On the bottom will be the site. Using this method may be slow if you use dial-up.

If you do not need a recent screen shot of the site, then use this:

With IE open, click File -> Import and export -> on the wizard click next -> export favorites -> export to a file, call it favorites.htm and save to desktop -> finish the wizard -> open favorites.htm -> file -> print and check the options tab and check the print table of links.

The first portion of the print will be all of the favorites. When it is finished, a shortcut test will come out revealing the exact address for each one.

Bright red background, cat's face in the corner. Spawns yet another service called web zen that sends out to my emailbox a freshly tidy-upped litterbox full of off-the-wall sites gathered in the last week. Once a week. Saves a lotta time surfin' by putting curiously distinct websites together in a list of places to go. Not your typical RSS Feed.
