Hi

I just got my laptop a few months ago
My laptop CPU usage suddenly jump up to 100% sometimes and it starts to lag/suddenly screen doesnt move or hear buzzing sound(when playing song) when i dont use it or use light application like winamp.
This happen more frequently during gaming also.
Anyone know whats going on?

I have scan my pc with Mcafee and Malwarebytes, show nothing is wrong.
I defrag my pc once every week too.

Im unsure which process also.
When it spike, the whole screen freeze after that its back to normal.
When i check task manager, process all look running at normal.
Is there a way to check?

Open task manager to the Processes tab. Sort on the cpu column with highest usage at the top. When the cpu spikes, look to see which process is hogging the cycles.

It's unclear from your first post when this happens. Is it always when you are either listening to music or gaming? If your system is sitting idle (doing nothing) can it happen then?

Look in device manager. Are there any yellow or red symbols?

Also, check the website of your laptop manufacturer for any updated drivers (especially chipset, video, audio)

Okay, please try one other thing. Please boot to safe mode and then play music or a game - does the system run okay or are there still spikes?
