Hello aeon flux and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. I see no signs of viruses or malware in the log. It is clean.

If you are attempting to install the applications from Corel directly from the web then that could be a problem. The programs should be downloaded to the computer and installed from there. Choose the "Save" option instead of "Open" option, save the installation to the hard drive and then run it from there.

Non-malware related browser issues can be addressed in the Web Browsing forum. I would suggest posting a question there. Before going there you might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling FireFox to see if that resolves those issues. IE might also require a reinstall and they can assist with that in the Web Browsing forum.

For the search issue, post a question in the XP forum and see what they have to say.Give them the details of what is happening and they should be able to assist with esolving that.

Cheers.
