Hi everyone

Fighting desperately for a solution to a problem, I came to this website here.
The 4th of June seems to have drawn attention to some folks out there.
I haven't read all posts here, obviously, I'm new here.

So, June the 4th changed my way of thinking in regards to malware and viruses,
so much so that I have plans to take counter action against the black-hat community
and malware authors.

First you may ask, what happened?
This is quite the question, and a legitimate one.
My issue seems closely related to this posting:

as I have had very similar, if not, the same symptoms.
In fact, having no way at the time to connect to the internet, I took advantage
of my 5-year cover plan for my laptop and gave it to repairs.

The situation was so bad, I was unable to recover Windows 7 from the recovery partition.
And the recovery DVDs I made right from day 1 , well, they failed...

Myself, a calm person, the only thing that went through my head was:
"... the guys are good who authored that virus..."
Well, I thought back to a funny reading posted on the Internet concerning Scam Baiters.
Let's have a look if one can do the same with Virus Baiting.
Those guys hang out behind their safe dark-room for far too long. Describing them resembles
fat dripping Slimoids, people who grew into adults remaining spoiled kids.

What we need, what we ALL need now, is a community that turns viruses and malware into deadly Boomerangs
without the knowledge of the so called elite virus makers.
Until now, viruses have been secured one-way tickets delivering the head-shot like from a sniper rifle.
With that I refer to, attaching like a sender to the virus calling back home when the Eagle has landed
by the black-hat kiddies.

Impossible, I hear from a back-seat in the audience?

Remember SETI@home ? In the same way, to use distributed computing to burn those black-hats out.
Once and for all.

With this, I am optimistic of taking the universal law of cause and reaction back to its owner.
We MUST take control of this issue. Anti Virus has failed for most parts. AV software is a very
basic counter measure. It's still, not enough.

To put this into perspective:
Actual malware and virus authors against all computer of the end-users in the entire world.
Who has the power? Who has in the end more computing power?

We need to START DOING. Not talking.

Hello, and welcome to Bleeping Computer!

There's useful information, including "getting started" stuff in the New User Orientation forum, and in the "sticky" topics at the top of forums.
