Recently i started working with some java applications that make use of files and folders beginning with a .filename now the filesystem supports spaces and special characters at the begining of a folder/filename however windows explorer restricts this. is there a modification or shell extension that removes these limitations from explorer and lets me rename folders with these naming conventions. i can do this in command line but it is a bit of a hasle.
