I have a piece of hardware that has PIC16C745 Microprocessor at its heart. It failed due to a failure of the voltage regulator, allowing too high a volatge on the IC.
I do have another working unit and rely on the two of them.
My question is::: I can get a replacement IC from Farnell but is there a way to read what is on the good IC and transfer to a new IC replacement for the one blown?
The company that made the Printed Circuit has gone to that great scrap heap in the sky, so no help there.
