Secure your system by updating 3rd party programs.

Your version of Java is outdated and needs to be updated to take advantage of fixes that have eliminated security vulnerabilities.

Check your present version and update as recommended.
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

If present remove the old version(s) of Java using the Add/Remove Programs applet.

Java™ 6 Update 31

Here is my ESETScan result. It found one threat and it removed it. Is this threat serious or not? Thank you and have a nice day!

Do you give me the green light to pay my bills online?

From what I have found yes.

Hello Nasdaq,

Sorry for not replying until now but I had to go out of town. Thank you soooo much for checking if my computer is safe to use again. I'm happy to hear that it is clean now. Nasdaq, how often should I run the ESET Online Scan or is this a Scan that is to be ran when told to by a moderator? I want to thank you once again for everything! Have a great weekend!

Thank you,

Jody

With e-set online scanner you do not have real time protection. I suggest your install one of the following fee program. All of the following are excellent free versions of commercial antiviruses. Be sure to only install one.
AVG.
avast!.
AVAST will install the Google Chrome if not already installed. If you do not want to keep it just remove it using the Add/Remove Programs list.
AntiVir

If you install AVG it will install Chrome unless you deny it.

Right now I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials for my antivirus program. Is this a good Antivirus program?

Both programs work well together install AVAST.

You can always disable Security Essentials if your system slows down.
