I am trying to install a program, actual (updating it) and get a message "error 2753 the file is not marked for installation" I have uninstalled old program, deleted all temp files, history, cookies, Installed installation, completely cleaned all registry files etc etc but keep getting same message. Have used Windows Clean up tool and several clean up tools with no luck. Any body have any ideas??? I can install old program again with no problems,but not upgrade. Thanks for any advice

What program? What version is the upgrade? What version is the original program? Do you have a legal upgrade for this version?

The program is incredimail, old version is XE. New version incredimail 2..... All legal. Have seen this error 2753 on google for several programs?? No luck so far with fix. Incredimail support said to use Windows clean up tool........no luck Thanks louis!! Using windows 7 Ultimate, all is up to date, all service packs etc. Like i said can reinstall XE just not upgrade to version 2

Thanks Louis, Been to just about all forums, including Incredimail's forum's with no solution found?? Hoping Incredimail's support team can find a solution......waiting for a reply from them. Thanks anyway :thumbsup:
