I have no room on my 112 GB local disk. I have downloaded minitoolbox to get a snapshot of my c:/drive for anyone to review for feedback and suggestions. I have run disk clean up and compressed files as well as defrag-ed the computer (even though there was not enough space to do this and it had no effect). Any suggestions??

Much obliged,
she hulk (see minitool box log below)

just quick question-you say its full, but what is it full of? have you tried simply deleting some files? Was it something that got full, or did it make a massive fill up overnight for no apparent reason (like went from 75% capacity to 100% overnight without installing anything) it may just be time to save some stuff to external sources and clean it out.

Thanks patriot! I have been deleting files and it did not occur overnight. It occurred slowly and it is simply time to put your suggestion into effect, need to get stuff onto external hard drive n clean it up. I appreciate your reply.

There is no reason for large data files...videos, graphics, music files...to be on anything other than your external drive or other storage media. Moving those files will yield the most efficient resolution of the disk space problem.

Windows needs approximately 15% of the Windows partition reflected as free space.

A tool you may want to use to see just what is occupying your hard drive space: WinDirStat - http://download.cnet.com/WinDirStat/3000-2248_4-10614593.html .
