Hey guys,
Have downloaded some fairly good proxys and just wondering as the web is so large if there are any that people use that they downloaded for free and have had no trouble with. I'm using 602LAN SUITE 2004 which i downloaded from downloads.com and it works well but in 30 days it will disable the advanced features if i don't get a licence. It does say these are free however all you need to do is sign-up by putting in your email address and they send you one. Gave them my email address no reply, done it a good 5 times now and still no reply. SO.... does anyone know any proxys that can do the job well for free? Thanks for your time.

I have been using http://www.copfilter.org/ as of late and really like it and use it along with http://www.urlfilter.net/. You load it into an ipcop firewall http://www.ipcop.org/ or there is a Endian Firewall that is a prebuilt with all those features http://www.efw.it/

If you are looking just at a http proxy to load on your computer to control content, there is good old Proxomitron http://www.proxomitron.info/ and there are plenty of filtering rules files for it out on the net.
