Hello,

Question around deleting files from a Toshiba hard drive I pulled from an older HP laptop?

I have the old HD in an enclosure and plugged it into my mac and tried deleting some files, suffice to say it would not let me. Do I need to pull the files to my mac and then delete? Or is there a better way?

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Thanks

More than likely this drive is in NTFS format your mac can read NTFS but not write to the partition. I would recomend you install Paragon NTFS for Mac install it and change the drive that way.
