I have a problem with MS Word: Whenever opening a file directly, either the file itself or from the recent files shortcut, I get the message "There is not enough memory or disk space to run Word".

I can open Word and then open a file from within Word, but that's annoying!

Also, the icons seem to have gone and it just has the default program icon in place of the Word one.

When Googling for solutions I can't find anything very helpful... it's either a different version of Word or a slightly different problem. And no one seems to have both problems at the same time.

I'm asking about someone else's computer so I may have the details slightly wrong (no access to it right now) but it's Windows 7 and Office Word 2007 (maybe 2010?).

Any ideas?
