I uninstalled Avast with the hope of installing BitDefender free trial....but dont worry - it is so big, my internet is so slow. So I cannot install BD...

Anyway, I just reinstalled Avast again, and after everything is done, I tried updating but it is stuck on

"Initializing, please wait..."

It has been like that for almost 1 hour now. I did some research, and there is a fix for that, but apparently mine is a different case, therefore the fix did not help.

My program version is 7.0.1426

Please help, this has never happened before. Only because I uninstalled and reinstalled it.

Thanks you!!

What if you try Manually
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
