Just installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview on a VHD. After booting up, each time I try to set up my internet connection - when I enter the username and password and click next, it just shows me a BSOD with a smiley(Windows 8's style of saying everything got screwed up, I guess). Can you guys tell me why this is happening?

ERROR CODE: DRIVER_AQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(ndis.sys) or DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL(ndis.sys) - I'm not sure which one since my 1024x768 resolutions seems to cramp up the text on the BSOD.

Also, I skipped entering the serial key at the start - right after installation. But now I want to, how do I go about doing it? :)

Thanks.

Just got this fixed. Turns out it was my Realtek network card driver's problem. You just have to download and install the one for XP in Windows 8 using device manager. Full solution here - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-networking/bsod-when-setting-up-internet-connection-in/977172bf-1587-45d6-9f35-14c766716416

Thanks, nonetheless.
