Ok getting fed up with AVG secure search; tool bar hi jacking every thing in sight; and no matter what i try; Ccleaner or malwearbytes or superantispywear or the AVG removal tool nothing can touch it yet.

I need you guys to work your magic and tell me how to delete A V G 100% get it off my windons 7 ie 9.0 set up avg came with the lap top and thought i delete all AVG items but no ! !

Hope this rings bells here any someone has a fix; need some fast help to fix this error ! ! thanks a bunch . .

Hi -
Is (was) AVG your antivirus at one time, and have you installed another program now ?
Remove AVG via Programs and Features, or any uninstaller provided, then run this tool -
http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities
Avg Removal Tool

If the toolbar is still playing up download and run Spybot Search and Destroy (this can help)

While poking around in the addons controls, if you see anything involving Ask.com disable/ remove
that, too. But according to the link above it is a Yahoo toolbar.

Not exactly sure what is meant by this ? ?

AVG Remover
AVG Remover eliminates all the parts of your AVG installation from your computer, including registry items, installation files, user files, etc.
AVG Remover is the last option to be used in case the AVG uninstall / repair installation process has failed repeatedly.

If that info is up to date, which I think it is, the info there is needed to get rid of the AVG Secure Search.
