If windows has task manager where we can end a certain application process, what do we have for Mac?

And how could we do that?

Option-Command-Escape will pull up the Force Quit window and you can exit out of programs from there. Also, Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder is pretty close to Task Manager on Windows.
