I am here because of an email virus. But, when forced to dig through defecations, I am searching for the positive meaning. Like when my mountain bike was stolen in front of my home, in the middle of a summer afternoon. I decided not to buy another bike, and I have walked since then or taken the train. I haven't owned a car since moving out of LA either, until now. It looks like our daughters will buy a car, and I'll have to use my paper license.
But this is a problem, because i have significantly weakened my eyes in the meantime studying Japanese.

The virus on our daughters computer, has forced me to be a little more unselfish with my time. I want to contribute to this community. And I want to learn about computers, which I have hardly done, despite decades of using wordprocessing and spreadsheets, and even a database program once upon a time.

My name, "KomaGawa" is from the river near our home. I go walking there, for years and years along the flood contro embankment. Koma was originally a Korean word, about 1500 years ago. It refers to a chess piece, along with other meanings. I am an English Teacher.
