Hi. We received a request to allow Runonce denied it a few times. Then we were directed to WinPatrol. We have a message of a virus (I believe) called %SYSTEMROOT%\SYSTEM32\WerFault.exe -k -rq. We have disconnected our back up HDD and disconnected from the internet and closed all programmes. We are currently running Avast and Malwarebytes full scans right now. What else should we do, what can we do to delete this infection before it does any damage?

We are running Vista 64 on a MESH desktop, with Avast! and Comodo. Twice in the last 6 months we have had serious rootkit infections which have been removed with help from Bleeping computer - beginning to wonder why we are so vulnerable.

Please help, thanks.

This is not a malicious file. It is part of Microsoft operating system.
