Hi, on my new laptop (Windows 7) I am using Word 2003, but no page border art is installed.

On my old laptop (Windows XP) I have Word 2003 also, and page border art is installed.

I have been in the Program Files of Word in my old laptop, found the border art files, and copied that folder into the Word program files of my new laptop (where there wasn't originally any folder named 'borders'), but that hasn't helped.

I have tried going into control panel, change programs, and updating the page border art feature, but it tells me it can't because SKU011.CAB is missing.

I don't have the original installation CD any more.

Can anyone help? It would be so much appreciated!

From my understanding Office 2003 and earlier versions are not supported in Windows 7.

Also can you post screenshots of what you are talking about?

Try copying the BORDERS folder over to the computer that does not have one. See if that solves the issue.

Did you copy the entire folder?

Also lets go to Control Panel and create another account via User Accounts and give it administrative rights. Log into the new account, and see if you can see the borders.

You mean the entire Borders folder? Yes I did, here's a printscreen of the borders folder having been pasted in:

Here's the message I got when I started Word in the new user account:

I clicked cancel, and it proceeded to open Word anyway. But when I clicked on the border art drop down list, the same original problem happened:

Does a friend of yours have a Office 2003 Installation CD?

If not then I would recommend buying it from: Office 2003 Professional

Here is the Office 2003 Retail

That way you have the installation CD's.

Just one question, when you installed Office 2003 did you do the full installation and by that I mean Run all from my computer?

Posted Image

On that image did you right click on MS Office 2003 at the very top and select run all from my computer?

To be honest I can't remember, but I assume yes.

Just out of curiosity I tried system look on the windows XP laptop, where border art works fine. But it also didn't find that file!
