May be of some help -
Download Security Check from HERE, and save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

Or it may show nothing -

A few days ago I discovered that Windows XP Security Center display incorect version of Comodo

Antivirus/Firewall Check:
COMODO Internet Security
Microsoft Security Essentials

This is the item that I was looking for - 2 Antivirus programs installed together - Your MSE is corrupting the Comodo update -
Please delete one of those 2 programs so that you only have one running. If you have done this

I have noted that in the last few Java updates it has shown Java™ 7 Update 4 Out of date Java installed! incorrectly, but not sure why -
It could be because of the 2 A/virus programs -

Thank You -

XP-AntiSpy is an utility that let´s you disable some built-in update and authentication features in Windows.
The update feature is nothing, but the authentication features is a bit concerning (details were from Cnet and Softpedia)
Is this OK ? ?

The lat 2 times I had Screen317s' check it showed the same / similar responses to updated Java ?
Checked on my XP and it was OK - Might depend on the download location ?
EDIT -
Just rechecked mine again ? ? and went to Control Panel > Java = Correct version installed ?
Java™ 7 Update 4
Out of date Java installed!
