I have an HP Pavilion zv5000 (zv5320us)and many of the keys on the keyboard do not work, it's not because the num lok is on. I want to take the keyboard out. Does anyone know how to remove the keyboard.

Hi Riv,

See if this helps.

Maintenance and Service Guide - HP Pavilion zv5000 Notebook PC and more.

Arrow down to page 5-32 (Removal and Replacement Procedures - 5.10 Keyboard) and follow the instructions.

Be careful when removing the ribbon cable from the board connector. It's usually a pressure fit with two delicate plastic pieces that have to be gently lifted in order for the ribbon to slide out.
