Hello,

2 days ago, I downloaded a computer program that in retrospect, was obviously a virus. This program has now reduced my computers functionality to almost 0. It worked fine initially, but then I was prompted to shut down my computer to install security updates. I would get the regular blue updating screen, but the update would get stuck at 15% (at which point I would turn the computer off).

The next time I started the computer, an attempt to make the same update by the computer failed, and it got stuck at 15% (AGAIN, i turned it off at this point).

Now, I cannot even start my computer normally - I get an error saying 'Fatal error C0000034 applying update operation 303 of 104116 (_00000...)"

Thanks for your time, I appreciate any help you will have to offer.
