My Computer freezes

Hi,
I'm using windows 7 64bit on a Sony Vaio notebook.From time to time, my computer freezes and I cannot take any actions, it doesn't happen all the time but I lost the work I've done sometimes because of that.
I needed to restart my computer. Maybe you have any suggestions or advice to give me?

I believe your sony vaio netbook has a Vaio care to run all system and hardware diagnostic. Please use that feature to test the system stability and hardware test and a report wil be generated after. Try doing this in safemode if you are having problem in normal mode.
