Many times I turn on the computer, it will beep and eventually turn off on its own. The hard drive is not hot either. Please help. I have an Acer vista premium desktop. The computer runs pretty fast so it doesn't seem like I have a virus.

Actually the beeping beeps at random times. Sometimes it beeps more than once/several times other times it beeps once every several minutes or long periods of hiatus. Sometimes the computer turns off right when I turn on my computer other times, it is able to stay on for quite a while.

The beeping sounds like three short/fast beep every time it beeps.

EDIT: Just kidding I just ran a quick scan with malwarebytes and it got 15 infections already.. however, it's hard to do a full scan when the computer likes to shut off at random times. Should I just reboot the computer?

Here's the log file from HijackThis:

Hello, Welcome to BleepingComputer.
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps.
===

These beeps are comming from the BIOS
Check it out.
http://www.computerhope.com/beep.htm

===

I suggest you remove this tool bar.

[*]Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

O2 - BHO: Search Toolbar - {9D425283-D487-4337-BAB6-AB8354A81457} - C:\Program Files\Search Toolbar\SearchToolbar.dll
O3 - Toolbar: Search Toolbar - {9D425283-D487-4337-BAB6-AB8354A81457} - C:\Program Files\Search Toolbar\SearchToolbar.dll

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Delete the folder in bold.
C:\Program Files\Search Toolbar\

Restart the computer normally.

===

If you need help on the BIOS/hardware issue I suggest you start a new topic in the Internal hardware Forum. This is not my forte.
