Laptop not scrolling correctly

I have a HP Pavilion DV2116wm laptop that has scrolling problems. If I am on a web page and use the touch pad or the arrow keys to scroll down approx 3/4 of the way, it just goes back to the top of the page. I have re-booted with same results. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried uninstalling (via Device Manager0...then reinstalling the touchpad driver?
