Hello Everyone,

I recently downloaded SpyHunter 4 from this guy.... www.you tube.com/watch?v=WykNSTn2mM8&email=comment_reply_received&lc=1hi5k0PBIBunkMnhUZGwFqiJHqctRFu4sO028gS6IVA&lch=email_reply&feature=email

Upon downloading, a box kept coming up saying "your dns settings have been modified" and gave me the option to accept, restore or ignore. Like an idiot I hit restore, and 2 things have happened since then. 1) My windows has began stating that I have an ungenuine version of Windows 7, something I've never had a problem with before. And 2) upon booting up, a screen comes up that gives me 3 options,
SpyHunter
Windows XP
Windows Vista/

Initially I installed Spyhunter to get rid of a redirect virus, which I currently still have.
I uninstalled spyhunter but still continue to have both problems. I checked the forums for answers and did not find any that were solved. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much guys!
-Steve

Hello, lets take your problems one at a time and first get rid of malware, then of spyhunter. :)

We need to see some information about what is happening in your machine. Please perform the following scan:
  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.
  • A small box will open, with an explaination about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.
  • Notepad will open with the results.
  • Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.
  • Close the program window, and delete the program from your desktop.
Please note: You may have to disable any script protection running if the scan fails to run. After downloading the tool, disconnect from the internet and disable all antivirus protection. Run the scan, enable your A/V and reconnect to the internet.

Information on A/V control HERE

regards, Elise
