Hello to all i have just been informed to try for some help on your forum. I hope i am posting in the correct place to ask for help about this.
I got a warning came up from yorkshire police saying they have locked my files and i need to pay them to get them unlocked.I have used different malware and anti-virus to run for faults on my laptop.
They all found different things,i dont get the warning page coming up but my files are all still locked.
I have had a look and tried to search it on the site but i cant find anything could somebody please send me in the right dirrection if there is a tutorial on how to repair this please.

Do you have one or more of the scan logs available from the scans you said you performed? May I see them please? Do any of the "locked files" appear anything similar to this:
“locked-<original_name>.<4 random characters>”
