For some reason, javaw.exe takes a whopping 120k+ worth of memory each time. I didn't enter any browser yet and it is already taking up that much ?

Are there any abnormalities here ?

Regarding javasched, is there javasched for each separate java environment I install ? I have both Java 6 and Java 7 installed.

Thanks in advance =)

The following will help us get a better look at your computer.

  • Use Speccy to provide details of your computer's configuration.

    • Download, install, and run.
    • After Speccy has finished gathering information, click File > Publish Snapshot.
    • Click Yes. A web address will be displayed.
    • Click Copy to Clipboard and paste it in your next post.
    • Include your computer's manufacturer and model number, if you haven't already.
  • Please download MiniToolBox and run it.
    • Checkmark following boxes:
    • List Installed Programs
  • Click Go.
When the scan is finished, a text file will open in a Notepad window.
  • Copy the entire contents of the Notepad window, and paste in your reply.
Result.txt will be saved in the same directory the tool is run.

Thanks for that info. A quick question: when does Java Web Start (javaw.exe) use that amount?

I have chrome running and it's using 109,000 K right now, so numbers that high are normal. For example, Team Fortress 2 is using 750,000 K.
