My dad's netbook is having troubles connecting to the internet using his netbook
Asus Aspire One D255
When he clicks on the icon at the bottom right of the screen, it says that it cannot find any networks.
We have 2 routers broadcasting, so i dont think that is the problem.
The 2 error messages i am able to find are:
system notification bubble:
"Failed to connect to a windows service
Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification Service service. This problem prevents standard users from logging on to the system. As an administrative user, you can review the system event log for details about why the service didn't respond."
Network and Sharing Center:
(At the top, where it would show the networks)
The dependency service or group failed to start"
The last 2 things I am going to talk about are things in the "SERVICES" program.
"System Event Notification Service" Seems to be stuck in a "Starting" Status, which makes me unable to start or stop it.
The last thing is the Network Location Awareness service. It is turned off, and when i try to start it, it gives me the error "Windows could not start the Network Location Awareness service on local computer. Error 5: Access is denied.
